This site is designed to the Web Accessibility Guidelines to ensure that it can be used by people with impairments. For example, the colours are chosen to ensure that those people with one of the various forms of colour blindness can read the text easily. The numbers following internal links show the Access Key that will take you to the indicated topic in those browsers that support these facilities. This means that pressing the <alt> key and the indicated numeric key will either take you directly to the page or will position you on the link so that hitting <enter> will take you there. (On the MAC use <ctrl> not <alt>) Also the <tab> key will move you through the links in the natural order.
